History

In 1987, Mary Pisciotta of Lee’s Summit became interested in the Missouri Federation of Republican Women and its local clubs. Mary met with Jane Shover and Joan Mahanke, and the three ladies chartered the club in Eastern Jackson County as the Santa Fe Trail Republican Women’s Club, opening the door for Republican women on the Santa Fe Trail.

Today the membership has grown to over 60 women and has members from Independence, Blue Springs, Lee’s Summit, Kansas City, Grain Valley, Buckner, Belton, Grandview, and Raytown. Together we strengthen the Republican Party, empower Republican women, and create a better future for our children and grandchildren.
